The civic association Šanca pre nechcených is dedicated to a deeply meaningful mission: giving unwanted children a chance at life.
The non-profit organisation was established in 2004, when the first three Hniezda záchrany baby boxes were introduced in Slovakia. They provide a safe option for mothers in desperate situations, allowing them to relinquish a newborn anonymously and humanely, giving the child the opportunity to be adopted.
Šanca pre nechcených works to protect unwanted newborns, address the circumstances that lead mothers to give up their children, and support stronger relationships across three generations.
Our task was to create a professional and informative website that would raise awareness of the organisation’s mission.
For the design, we chose strong, emotional visual elements that reflect the organisation’s most important values.
In addition to the website itself, we also developed an administration system that allows Šanca pre nechcených to easily publish guidance for mothers and update information about the Hniezda záchrany baby boxes.
